Coronavirus update (COVID-19)

There are currently many questions regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Our employees are doing everything they can to answer everybody’s questions. Waiting times for telephone and email may be longer than usual due to the number of people trying to contact us. This is why we try to update the current guidelines on this frequently asked questions page every day.

In response to the measures taken and the advice of the RIVM, the Dutch government, the Brabant Safety Regions and the Dutch Zoo Federation (NVD, Nederlandse Vereniging van Dierentuinen) regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), Safari Park Beekse Bergen and Speelland will be closed until further notice. In doing so, we observe the welfare of our visitors and employees. We will investigate in consultation with the Safety Region when and under which circumstances the parks can be (partially) opened again. The welfare of the animals will not be jeopardised.
Acting on the advice of the government and the Brabant Safety Regions, all business units of Safari Park Beekse Bergen and Speelland will be closed until further notice. We will inform you about the current situation on our website.
Because we find it annoying that you do not have access to the Safari Park now, we are happy to offer you as a loyal guest of our park something extra to compensate. You can count on a voucher to spend at the restaurants and / or shopping locations in the park. You will be informed by e-mail about the value and more details later. As soon as the park can open again, we will of course inform you as soon as possible.
No, for the period up to and including 28 April, it is in any case possible that this unfortunately cannot take place. You can contact us to change this.
The duration of these promotions will be extended until June 30, 2020. This happens automatically and you do not have to do anything yourself.
The term of these campaigns will be extended until 30 June 2020. Please contact the ticket supplier if you have any further questions.

The welfare of the animals is guaranteed and is our top priority. We will continue to take care of our animals as usual. Obviously, we will follow the hygiene recommendations and advice for our staff. Tip: follow our social media channels for fun news about our animals and to see how they are doing!
