Beekse Bergen welcomes millionth visitor
Safaripark Beekse Bergen welcomes millionth visitor of the year
The unsuspecting Jansen family was put in the limelight today at Safaripark Beekse Bergen. Among them was the millionth visitor to the Hilvarenbeek park this year. Never before did Safaripark Beekse Bergen receive its millionth visitor so early in the year.
General manager Rens Willemsen is proud to welcome so many visitors to the park. "Every day we work hard to provide the best possible care for both our guests and the animals. A lot has been invested in the park with this year's construction of the Elephant Valley. It is good to see this reflected in the visitor numbers! Welcoming the millionth visitor is then the icing on the cake and it is incredibly nice that we can give the Jansen family an unforgettable day."
The Jansen family consists of mother Kristy, father Jasper and three daughters Resa (7 years old), Lore (4 years old) and Filou (4 months old). They were spoiled with a bunch of flowers, a gift certificate, a backpack filled with fun souvenirs and they were given an exclusive tour by a ranger including a look behind the scenes, which the young family visibly enjoyed.
Kristy Jansen: "What a special welcome! The girls have a study day at school today, so we decided to take a day trip to Beekse Bergen." It is the third visit for the family this year and they are very curious about the Elephant Valley. "We are very curious to see how it turned out! Also special that there are lion cubs. We look forward to what else the day brings, but chances are the girls will have a new favorite animal tomorrow" laughs Kristy.
