Vision
Man and nature are growing further and further apart. Care for nature and attention to the environment is essential for the future of our earth. Safaripark Beekse Bergen plays an important role in connecting man and nature.
Mission
Wondering about the most beautiful animals in Safaripark Beekse Bergen and the experience of a safari creates in people not only an unforgettable experience, but also a positive attitude towards nature. Ideally, this is also followed by a positive change in behavior towards nature conservation and the environment.
Community involvement
Stichting Wildlife
In Safaripark Beekse Bergen, Stichting Wildlife is actively committed to various conservation projects. The objective of the foundation is to protect endangered animal and plant species at home and abroad. Stichting Wildlife is committed to this in a variety of ways. In the Friends' Kraal, volunteers inform visitors about the many special animals in Safaripark Beekse Bergen using a large collection of special and rare objects on display. In the park, volunteers are active every day to recruit donors and adoptive parents for the animals to support various conservation projects. Look here for more information about Stichting Wildlife.
Sponsored by Beekse Bergen
In addition to Stichting Wildlife, Libéma, owner of Beekse Bergen, supports more charities. Because unfortunately not everyone is granted the opportunity to enjoy a carefree day out, Libéma is happy to take social responsibility in this regard by sponsoring various charities. Libéma has chosen:
Jantje Beton
Villa Pardoes
Heppie Foundation
Of course, Safaripark and Speelland Beekse Bergen also support local initiatives, such as the Ronald McDonald House Midwest Brabant, Stichting Gijsje Eigenwijsje, Villa Vivre in Goirle and Football Club Hilvaria Hilvarenbeek.
Safaripark Beekse Bergen and Quiet Community.
In 2013 the Quiet 500, a glossy magazine to highlight and alleviate (silent) poverty, was published. The magazine immediately became a national success and raised over €50,000 for two Tilburg poverty projects. Dirk Lips (owner of Libéma) then backed this initiative. Together, the Quiet Community was developed, effectively a National Plan for Regional Poverty Alleviation.
People in a poverty situation can get a Quiet pass. With this pass they are eligible for all kinds of goods, services and pampering. These are offered by individuals, companies but also by the Quiet-members themselves. In this way, everyone contributes to poverty alleviation, including the poor people themselves. People who use the pass can remain anonymous and do not have to account for their actions. The goal of all this is to offer people a way out of financial, social and psychological isolation. Cooperation and trust are two important pillars. The Quiet Community is being launched and optimized in Tilburg and then rolled out to other major cities.
Welcome offer for Quiet Members
Safaripark Beekse Bergen is offering new Quiet Community Members a fully catered day out with the family.
