Parkregulations Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen

Article 1. Applicability

1.1. Upon entering Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen and/or using all facilities and services operated by Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen, you accept the applicability of the present regulations and you are obliged to strictly follow the rules and any instructions given by the employees of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen. In these regulations, ‘Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen’ and ‘the park’ also include the catering facilities, the outdoor area, the car park, the bicycle parking and the water features.
1.2. For all cases and/or situations not covered by these regulations, Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen reserves the right to impose additional verbal and/or written rules that are binding upon the guests.

Article 2. Admission and stay

2.1. It is not permitted to be present in the park without a valid admission ticket and/or without having signed in at the reception, with the exception of day visitors who are not staying overnight. Day visitors must leave the park before 22.30.
2.2. All visitors may be asked for proof of identity upon request. If you do not yet possess an Attractions Pass for all persons aged three years and older, you must report to the Guest Service Centre. The Attractions Pass will give you free and unlimited access to Libéma amusement parks and the indoor swimming pool during your stay.
2.3. All guests staying overnight in the accommodation must be signed in when making the reservation. If you wish to receive an overnight guest during your stay, you must sign in that guest at the Guest Service Centre, and pay the extra rate and local taxes per person per stay in advance.
2.4. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen reserves the right to change the layout and opening hours of the facilities and/or the accommodation at Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen reserves the right to carry out necessary maintenance on the accommodation and/or other facilities during your stay without being liable for any compensation.
2.5. It is prohibited to swim or do any other kind of water sport/recreational activity in the water features in the park. It is also prohibited to enter a savannah and/or animal enclosure, unless on the express instructions of employees of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen.
2.6. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is authorised to close part(s) of the park without any obligation to compensate its guests.

Article 3. Safety and liability

3.1. A visit to Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is entirely at your own risk. Our guests must behave properly and must not cause any nuisance to others whatsoever. To this end, they must at all times comply with the RECRON Terms and Conditions and these rules of conduct. Criminal acts will be reported to the police.
3.2. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is entitled to deny access to the park to guests and/or day visitors whom it believes or fears will disrupt the order, peace and/or safety within the park, without being liable for any compensation. If a guest fails to vacate the accommodation on time, the accommodation will be cleared by Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen at the expense and risk of the guest.
3.3. The guest is responsible and liable for the behaviour of, and any injury and/or damage to persons and/or property belonging to our park and/or third parties caused by him/her, his/her travel companions, day visitors and/or overnight guests. Day visitors and/or guests who act unlawfully in relation to the park and/or its employees and/or who cause damage to park property will be held liable, and any damage will be recovered from them. 3.4. Within Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen, it is not permitted to:
a. enter attractions and facilities that are not open to the public at that time;
b. be in possession of weapons or other objects deemed dangerous by the management of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen. The management of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen reserves the right to seize these objects and to call in the police;
c. use, possess and/or trade in narcotics. The management of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen reserves the right to seize these substances, and to call in the police;
d. light fireworks;
e. barbecue, use fondue sets or gourmet sets;
f. fish at the park.
3.5. Swimming is only permitted in the indoor swimming pool. Children up to the age of 10 are only allowed to enter the indoor swimming pool and the swimming pool water when accompanied and supervised by an adult (at least 18 years old, and in the possession of a swimming certificate). Children without a valid swimming certificate are obliged to wear flotation devices, and must be supervised by an adult (at least 18 years old, as well as in possession of a swimming certificate) at all times. Safety rules are stated at the swimming pool and at various other attractions. These rules must be strictly observed.
3.6. You may be in the vicinity of the park animals within the park. Please note that the animals may display unpredictable behaviour which may cause injury or damage to you or your possessions. By entering the park, you accept this risk. Feeding the animals is strictly prohibited.
3.7. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen accepts no liability for personal injury and/or theft (including theft from lockers and swimming pool lockers), loss or damage to property of its visitors of whatever nature arising during and/or as a result of a stay at Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen and/or the rental/the use of the accommodation and/or other facilities, a visit to the park (such as injury or damage caused by the animals present in the park or arising during use of the playground equipment and attractions in the park or entering the indoor swimming pool), except as a result of intent or deliberate recklessness by (the management of) Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen or (any of) its employees.
3.8. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is not liable for disruptions to its service provision or deficiencies in the services provided by third parties.
3.9. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is not liable for consequential damage, including consequential loss and loss of income. Furthermore, Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen accepts no liability for damage for which a right to compensation exists under a travel and/or cancellation insurance or any other insurance and/or scheme. Insofar as Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is unable to rely on said limitations of liability, its liability shall not exceed the amount paid out under the liability insurance in the relevant case, supplemented by the amount of the excess.

Article 4. Image and/or sound recordings

4.1. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is entitled to make or have someone make image and/or sound recordings of its park and of the guests present in and around the park. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen and its affiliated companies are entitled to use and publish these recordings, for promotional purposes, for instance. It goes without saying that Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen and its affiliated companies will exercise the necessary care in this respect. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen and its affiliated companies are not obliged to pay any compensation for the use or the publication of the recordings to the persons depicted therein. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please avoid the locations where a filmmaker, film crew and/or photographer are working.
4.2. Visitors are not permitted to make audio and/or video recordings, take photographs or create other image material in the park for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the General Manager of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen.

Article 5. Accommodation

5.1. The number of guests that are allowed to stay in the accommodation must not exceed that specified in the brochure or described on the website for the accommodation in question.
5.2. The guests (which in this provision includes day visitors and overnight guests) are jointly and severally liable for the orderly state of affairs in and around the rented accommodation or elsewhere within the grounds of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen, the use of the accommodation and the equipment and inventory it contains. Furthermore, the guests will at all times be jointly and severally liable for damage as a result of breakage of and/or loss of and/or damage to the furniture and/or accommodation. Any damage must be reported to the Guest Service Centre of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen immediately and must be paid for immediately on the spot, unless the guest can prove that the damage is not attributable to him/her or the other guests.
5.3. Accommodation and covered facilities of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen are smoke-free and smoking at these locations is strictly prohibited.
5.4. It is prohibited to erect camping equipment at any of the rental accommodation.
5.5. It is prohibited to park a car at the rental accommodation. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is a restricted traffic park. On the days of arrival and departure, a car may be parked at the accommodation for loading and unloading purposes, with the exception of the accommodation for disabled guests, at which one car may be parked. Cars must be parked in the car park near the main entrance or the car park in the park. Parking on or along the roads is not permitted. Vehicles parked outside the locations indicated will be removed at the expense and risk of the owner. A tow-away scheme is in force within the park. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen will not be liable for theft of and/or damage to any car that is parked in a car park of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen.
5.6. Trailers, boats and similar equipment may also not be parked at the accommodation.
5.7. The barrier operates on the basis of the vehicle registration number. The registration number entered by the guest during booking or that is passed on via our Guest Service will be used for this purpose. In the event of abuse, misconduct or payment problems, the vehicle registration number will be blocked by the Guest Service.
5.8. Cars must be used as little as possible on the days on which use is permitted. A maximum speed limit of 20 km per hour applies within the park. Motorised traffic is not permitted in the park after 22.30.
5.9. Motorcycles, mopeds and scooters are only permitted in the park with their engine turned off.
5.10. Freight traffic is not permitted in the park without the prior consent of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen.
5.11. The use of sound equipment is permitted from 07.30 to 22.30, provided that this is not causing any nuisance in the opinion of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen. Between 22.30 and 07.30, there must be silence in the park so that all guests and animals can sleep undisturbed. It is strictly prohibited to place sound equipment outside the accommodation or to turn the volume up so high that nuisance is caused to other guests of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen, this at the discretion of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen. In the event that nuisance is found to have been caused and you fail to follow the instructions of the staff, Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is entitled to remove you and any other user from the park immediately, without restitution of the rental sum or part thereof and/or without any right to any other form of compensation.
5.12. Pets are not allowed in the park.
5.13. The rental accommodation and surrounding area must be kept clean. Trees, shrubs, lawns and other objects must not be damaged.
5.14. You must separate your household waste into PMD (Plastic, Metal packaging and Drinks cartons), glass, paper and residual waste, using sealed refuse bags and depositing these in the relevant containers in the recycling centre. You can hand batteries in at the Guest Service Centre. In the event that waste is disposed of illegally, this will be reported to the police and the guest concerned will be denied further access to the park. The costs of clearing up this waste will be recovered from the offender.
5.15. Open fires are prohibited at all times, as is barbecuing, due to the risk of fire.
5.16. It is not permitted to attach ropes between or on trees and/or other plants (for drying laundry, for example).
5.17. If your accommodation is left behind in an improper condition, or in the case of excessive soiling of and/or damage to the accommodation and/or the items in it, and/or soiling of and/or damage to the grounds/surrounding area of the park, Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen will charge the guest for the damage directly, which must be paid immediately.
5.18. The accommodation must be left clean and tidy upon your departure (therefore no dirty dishes and placing the refuse bag in the container).
5.19. Use of drones is not permitted at Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen in connection with safety and the protection of privacy.

Article 6. Comments and additional rules

6.1. Should you wish to lodge a complaint, despite the efforts of the employees of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen to make your stay as pleasant as possible, you can do so by contacting the Guest Service by telephone 24 hours a day and in the Market during opening hours.  We will do everything in our power to resolve your complaint and/or remedy any defects.
6.2. In all cases not provided for in the RECRON terms and conditions and/or these rules of conduct, Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is entitled to lay down additional rules which are binding upon guests. In the event of any conflict between the provisions in the RECRON terms and conditions and these park regulations, the regulations shall prevail.
6.3. Commercial activities, in whatever form, are not permitted in the park. Posters and other announcements are not permitted.
6.4. All guests must comply with the rules of conduct and the General Terms and Conditions as laid down by Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen. You can ask for a copy of the regulations at the Guest Service upon arrival. If you and/or your fellow travellers are present at the grounds of one of the other Libéma parks, the rules and regulations of that park are applicable. You can obtain these from the Guest Service free of charge.
6.5. In the event of a breach of the regulations and/or failure to follow the instructions of our staff, Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is entitled to gain access to the accommodation and/or to remove you and any other guest from the park immediately, without refund of the rental sum or part thereof and/or without any right to any other form of compensation.
6.6. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen will not be bound by obvious printing or typesetting errors. With these regulations, all previous publications cease to apply. Any invalidity and/or voidness of one of the individual provisions of these regulations and/or parts thereof will not affect the validity of the other provisions of these regulations and/or parts thereof. Amendments and additions to the agreement and/or regulations are only valid if they have been laid down in writing. Dutch law applies exclusively to this legal relationship between the parties, and therefore to these regulations.
6.7. If Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen strongly suspects that you are using the accommodation in violation of the law and/or public order and/or common decency, Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen is entitled to deny you access to the park and the accommodation.
6.8. Force majeure on the part of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen will exist if the execution of the agreement is prevented in full or in part, permanently or temporarily, by circumstances beyond the control of Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen, including the threat of war, (personnel) strikes, blockades, fire, pandemics. floods and any other disruptions or incidents.
6.9. You yourself are responsible for possessing the valid travel documents required for your destination. Safari Hotel Beekse Bergen accepts no liability for the consequences arising from a failure to possess the correct travel documents.
