Park regulations Speelland Beekse Bergen.
1. Applicability
Upon entering Speelland Beekse Bergen, one accepts the applicability of these regulations and is obliged to strictly follow all regulations and the instructions given by the staff of Speelland Beekse Bergen.
For all cases and/or situations not provided for in these regulations, Speelland Beekse Bergen reserves the right to make additional rules verbally and/or in writing to which visitors are bound.
In these regulations, 'Speelland Beekse Bergen' and 'the park' also include the catering facilities, the indicated swimming facilities, the car park and the bicycle shed.
The regulations have been drawn up to ensure order and safety within Speelland Beekse Bergen.
2. Access and accommodation
Only with a valid entrance ticket will you have access to the park, through the designated gates. This entrance ticket must also be shown in the park upon request. Speelland is divided into an outdoor area (Speelland Outdoor) and an indoor playground (Speelland Indoor). Each section is subject to its own (access) conditions as detailed in these regulations.
Entrance tickets are valid only during the date indicated on the ticket and during the opening hours indicated at the box office. Speelland Beekse Bergen is authorised to change the opening hours.
Children under 10 years old are allowed to enter the outdoor part of the park (Speelland Outdoor) only under the continuous supervision and guidance of an adult (at least 18 years old).
Speelland Indoor is designed for youngsters up to 13 years old. They have access to Speelland Indoor only under the continuous supervision and guidance of an adult (at least 18 years old). Adolescents aged 14 to 18 will be admitted only if they are part of a party that includes children up to 13 years old and under the continuous supervision and guidance of an adult (at least 18 years old).
Speelland Beekse Bergen is authorised to close (a) part(s) of the park without being liable to pay any compensation to its visitors.
You are not allowed to bring (domestic) animals into the park. There is an exception for assistance dogs, which are allowed provided the conditions are met.
It is not permitted to enter the park beyond the box offices with a bicycle, scooter, walking bike, tricycle, roller skates, inline skates and/or, in the opinion of Speelland Beekse Bergen, similar attributes.
Cars should be parked in the car park in the designated spaces, bicycles and mopeds should be placed in the bicycle shed.
To leave the Speelland Beekse Bergen grounds, you must purchase an exit ticket. These exit tickets are available at the box offices.
Climbing on or over walls and fences is not allowed.
Rubbish should be deposited in the designated waste bins.
In the catering establishments, consumption is compulsory. It is not allowed to consume self-brought refreshments in the catering facilities.
It is not allowed to enter the park with sound equipment.
Visitors should hand in found objects in the park to Speelland Beekse Bergen staff.
Advertising, conducting public surveys, counts, collections and offering goods and services on the grounds of Speelland Beekse Bergen is not allowed, unless written permission has been obtained from the General Manager.
Promoting (religious) beliefs or holding demonstrations on the grounds of Speelland Beekse Bergen is not allowed, unless written permission has been obtained from the General Manager.
Speelland Indoor is a smoke-free part of the park. Smoking - including smoking e-cigarettes and vapes - is not allowed.
3. Image and/or sound recordings
Speelland Beekse Bergen may make image and/or sound recordings (or have them made) of its park and of persons moving in or around the park. Speelland Beekse Bergen and its affiliated companies are entitled to use and publish these recordings, for example for promotional purposes. Naturally, Speelland Beekse Bergen and its affiliated companies will exercise due care in doing so. Speelland Beekse Bergen and its affiliated companies owe no compensation to the persons depicted in the recordings for their use and publication. If you do not want to be in the picture, avoid places where you can see a filmmaker, film crew and/or photographer at work.
It is not allowed to make sound, photo and/or film recordings or other visual material for commercial purposes at the park, unless written permission has been obtained from the General Manager of Speelland Beekse Bergen.
The use of drones in and around Speelland Beekse Bergen is not permitted for safety and privacy protection reasons.
4. Safety and liability
Speelland Beekse Bergen has the right to deny access to visitors who do not comply with these park regulations and/or who, in its opinion or fear, disrupt the order, peace and/or safety within the park, without Speelland Beekse Bergen being held liable for any compensation. Offences (or suspected offences) will be reported to the police.
Speelland Beekse Bergen uses video cameras for your and our safety.
Inside Speelland Beekse Bergen, it is forbidden:
a. to enter attractions that are not currently open to the public;
b. to barbecue or have open fires;
c. to carry weapons or other objects which, in the opinion of Speelland Beekse Bergen, are dangerous. Speelland Beekse Bergen reserves the right to confiscate these items.
d. to use, possess and/or traffick narcotics.
Visits to Speelland Beekse Bergen are entirely at your own risk.
Swimming is only allowed in the designated areas.
Visitors without a swimming certificate may only enter the pedalos, water slides, aqua shuttle and other swimming facilities with buoyancy aids on and accompanied by an adult (at least 18 years old and in possession of a swimming certificate).
Safety instructions are posted at the swimming water and various attractions. These regulations must be strictly adhered to.
Speelland Beekse Bergen accepts no liability for personal injury and/or theft, loss, missing or damage to the property of its visitors arising during and/or as a result of a visit to the park (such as injury or damage caused by the animals present in the park or arising during the use of the park's play equipment and attractions or entering Lake Victoria, etc.), except insofar as caused as a result of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of (the management of) Speelland Beekse Bergen.
Speelland Beekse Bergen is not liable for consequential damage, including trading loss and loss of income.
To the extent that Speelland Beekse Bergen is not entitled to invoke the said limitations of liability, its maximum liability shall be the amount paid out under its liability insurance in the relevant case, supplemented by the amount of the deductible.
