As well as the magnificent African animals on the savannahs, there are also plenty of native species at the Safari Resort. One of these is the bat. As the sun goes down, these fascinating creatures come to life.

    During a guided walk around the Safari Resort, you’ll learn all about these ‘creatures of the night’. Our bat experts know exactly where to find them and, using their special bat detectors, will even let you hear how they communicate. Are you up for an adventure?

    Good to know:

    • The meeting point for this activity is the pick-up point for the Game Drive.

    • This activity is suitable for all ages.

    • The bat walk starts at varying times and lasts approximately 1 hour.

    • As a guest, you pay €4.50 per participant, of which €1.50 is donated to the Wildlife Foundation.

    • This activity can be booked for one person or more and is organised exclusively for our guests staying with us.
