There are five savannahs at the Safari Resort. You can also stay at Bahari Beach – a lovely little beach offering views of a lake where seals swim. In addition, you’ll find the following savannahs at the resort:
Simbara East and Simbara West: stay on the edge of this savannah and enjoy stunning views across savannahs inhabited by African lions.
Serengeti: On the Serengeti savannah, you’ll spot various remarkable animal species! From your terrace, you can see southern white rhinos, Grévy’s zebras, Nile antelopes, Nubian giraffes, ostriches, dromedaries and watusi cattle.
Masai Mara: From your accommodation on the Masai Mara savannah, you can spot six magnificent animal species: Grévy’s zebras, ostriches, southern white rhinos, eland antelopes, zebus and Nubian giraffes.
Ngorongoro: From your holiday home, you’ll have views of the Ngorongoro savannah, home to Grévy’s zebras, Nubian giraffes, black-faced impalas and Cape buffalo.

Download the appAll holiday homes and safari tents at the Safari Resort are suitable for a holiday with children. You can book a cot and high chair free of charge for all accommodation types. These will be ready and waiting in your accommodation upon arrival.
You can also opt for a Kidslodge. This is situated close to a fenced-off playground. The Kidslodge is also fully equipped for a holiday with children. Here you’ll find: a wheelbarrow, a baby bath, a cot, a changing mat, a high chair and, of course, child-proof sockets.
In addition, the holiday park offers plenty of facilities and activities for children. These include the Maji Springs swimming pool, the Ranger Basecamp indoor play area, the Pamoja Lounge bowling alley, viewing points on the savannahs with animals, entertainment and various outdoor play areas.
Many of the parks at Beekse Bergen are within walking distance of the Safari Resort:
Safaripark: about a 7-minute walk
Safari Hotel: The Safari Resort is located close to the Safari Hotel. It’s about an 8-minute walk from the main building, but many accommodations are even closer.
Lake Resort: 30 minutes
Speelland: accessible by car or the Ostrich-express.
You can also visit the Beekse Bergen parks by car. As a guest staying at the hotel, you can park for free at all the parks. The barriers open automatically when your number plate is scanned.
Safaripark: 5 minutes
Speelland: 9 minutes
Safari Hotel: 3 minutes
Lake Resort: 6 minutes
You can also board the Ostrich-express from the Karibu Town Centre Building at the Safari Resort. This little train runs past the Safari Resort, Lake Resort, the Safaripark and Speelland.
