There are currently many questions regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) as a result of the stricter measures taken by the cabinet.

On this page you will find the frequently asked questions and answers. The corona virus causes new developments every day. That is why we keep in close contact with the appropriate authorities. We always adapt our policy to the current guidelines of RIVM and the (local) authorities. This page is also regularly updated. So keep an eye on this page.

Safari Resort and Beekse Bergen Holiday Park are open again. Of course, the same national guidelines that you should follow at home apply to your stay. We also take measures and of course follow the guidelines of RIVM and the (local) authorities. For this reason, precautions apply. Of course we do our utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Obviously, people should stay at home with colds such as colds, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, sore throat, elevation or fever. If a housemate or family member is also short of breath and / or has a fever, all housemates and family members must stay at home. For more information, please refer to Rijksoverheid.nl.

 

Yes, your stay can continue if people from different households always keep 1.5 meters away from each other. By a household we mean spouses, registered partners or other life companions and parents, grandparents and children, insofar as they live at one address.

The Beekse Bergen holiday park has reopened, including the common sanitary facilities. The guidelines of the RIVM have been taken into account when opening up the joint sanitary facilities.

You can change your reservation to another arrival date at any time up to 3 months before arrival. 

In the unlikely event that you have to cancel your holiday and you have not taken out a cancellation fund (see below), you will owe a cancellation fee as agreed. Cancellation must be in writing. With regard to reserved accommodation and camping pitches, this cancellation fee is:

  • in case of cancellation up to three months before the arrival date, 0% of the total price stated in the confirmation;
  • in case of cancellation within three months to one month before the arrival date, 30% of the total price stated in the confirmation;
  • in case of cancellation within one month before the arrival date 90% of the total price stated in the confirmation;
  • in case of cancellation on the day of the arrival date, 100% of the total price stated in the confirmation.

Even if you do not show up on the arrival date, you will owe 100% of the total price stated in the confirmation (rental price incl. Additional costs / excluding local taxes). With regard to reserved group accommodations, in case of cancellation the cancellation fee as included in the Recron conditions for group accommodations and conference centers applies.

 Cancellation fund

  • Participation in the cancellation fund indemnifies you for the costs of a cancellation caused by one of the following events, if accompanied by an official statement:
  • in the event of death, illness or accident of the main character or one of the participants;
  • in the event of premature termination of your holiday due to the death of a family member in the first degree of the main character or one of the participants;
  • in the event of premature termination of your holiday due to fire, storm damage or lightning strike at home or household effects of the main character or one of the participants.

"Participants" means the persons listed on "mijn.beeksebergen.nl". Participation in the cancellation fund must be made immediately upon booking. The cancellation fund runs from the day of registration to the day of departure. In case of premature termination of the holiday for one of the above reasons, a percentage of the rent will be refunded in proportion to the number of holiday days enjoyed. The fund will pay after the location or accommodation is empty. You must also make this known in writing to the reception. The rate for participation in the cancellation fund is 5% of the total rent. No policy costs are charged.

Our theme parks have been reopened and guests of Safari Resort or Beekse Bergen Holiday Park have with their Attraction Pass again unlimited access to these parks.

Our restaurants are open again according to the guidelines of the RIVM and therefore with a limited capacity. For indoors it is necessary to book in advance. Reservations at restaurant Moto at Safari Resort Beekse Bergen can be made via the Beekse Bergen app or via 06-82519081. For reservations at restaurant Cape Town at Holiday Park Beekse Bergen you can contact us via 013-5491164 or via 06-83151997.

Guests of the Safari Resort can also order a meal from the Moto restaurant. This will then be delivered to the accommodation. It is possible to order pizza for both guests of Holiday Park and Safari Resort Beekse Bergen. More information about this delivery service can be found at https://www.beeksebergen.nl/overnachten/safari-resort/restaurant-moto. You can order via the Beekse Bergen app or via the Guest Service in Karibu Town (Safari Resort Beekse Bergen).

The swimming pools of Safari Resort and Beekse Bergen Holiday Park have been reopened in accordance with RIVM guidelines. Given the limited capacity, one-hour swim blocks have been set. Reservations are required with the Guest Service or the Infoshop at the park. Due to limited availability, it is possible to make one reservation per stay for the pool.

The supermarket is also open for your (forgotten) groceries.

The bowling alley in Pamoja Lounge at the Safari Resort is open again for guests of the Safari Resort. It is necessary to make a reservation in advance. This can be done by calling or apping to 06-82519081.

The mini golf course at the front of the Africa Club at the Holiday Park is open again for guests of both the Holiday Park and the Safari Resort. You can make a reservation for this via the info shop. Here you can also get miniature golf sticks for free.

 

The animation program is adjusted in frequency. These are facilitating activities, such as a treasure hunt or a craft package.

If you already have a reservation, it can generally be made. If this is not the case, we will contact you. If you want to make a new reservation, this is possible from the date of visit 1 September 2020.
