There are currently many questions regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) as a result of the stricter measures taken by the cabinet.

On this page you will find the frequently asked questions and answers. The corona virus causes new developments every day. That is why we keep in close contact with the appropriate authorities. We always adapt our policy to the current guidelines of RIVM and the (local) authorities. This page is also regularly updated. So keep an eye on this page.

Do you have a question about visiting Safaripark Beekse Bergen? Read here  The frequently asked questions Safaripark and Speelland.

Safari Resort and Holiday Park Beekse Bergen are open, so your stay can continue. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the Attraction Pass at the moment, as Safari Park Beekse Bergen and the other amusement parks are closed until further notice. Fortunately, there is still plenty to do at the holiday parks. For more information about the exact activities, please refer to the questions below (“What is currently going on at Safari Resort / Holiday Park Beekse Bergen?”).

Of course, the same national guidelines apply to your stay as you should follow at home. We too take measures and of course follow the guidelines of the RIVM and the (local) authorities. For this reason, precautions apply. We will of course do our utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Obviously, people should stay at home with a cold, such as a cold, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, sore throat, elevation or fever. If a housemate or family member is also short of breath and / or has a fever, all housemates and family members must stay at home. For more information, we refer you to Rijksoverheid.nl.

Yes, your stay can continue, provided your party consists of a maximum of 4 people or one household. Children up to and including 12 years old are not included. It is therefore not possible to rent a holiday home with more than 4 people (except your own household). Always keep 1.5 meters away from people from another household. By a household we mean spouses, registered partners or other life companions and parents, grandparents and children, provided they live at one address.

Yes, your stay can continue for the time being. We request that you do not contact us yet. If you have booked a stay with us with a short-term arrival date, you will have received an email from us with more information. It is still unclear what the measures will be for after this period. As soon as the situation changes, we will communicate any changes on our website.

If you have booked a stay with us with a short-term arrival date, you will have received an email from us with the various options.

If you unexpectedly have to cancel your holiday and you have not taken out a cancellation fund (see below), you will owe a fixed compensation. Cancellation must be done in writing. This compensation amounts with regard to reserved accommodation and camping pitches:

  • in case of cancellation more than three months before the arrival date, 15% of the total price stated in the confirmation;
  • in case of cancellation within three to two months before the arrival date, 50% of the total price stated in the confirmation;
  • in case of cancellation within two to one month before the arrival date, 75% of the total price stated in the confirmation;
  • in case of cancellation within one month before the arrival date, 90% of the total price stated in the confirmation;
  • in case of cancellation on the day of arrival 100% of the total price stated in the confirmation.

Even if you do not show up on the commencement date, you still owe 100% of the total price stated in the confirmation (rent incl. Additional costs / excluding local taxes).

Cancellation Fund

Participation in the cancellation fund indemnifies you against the costs of a cancellation caused by one of the following events, provided this is accompanied by an official statement:

  • in the event of the death, illness or accident of the main person or one of the participants;
  • in the event of early termination of your holiday due to the death of a family member in the first degree of the main person or one of the participants;
  • in the event of premature termination of your holiday due to fire, storm damage or lightning strike to the home or contents of the main character or one of the participants.

"Participants" are understood to mean the persons listed on "mijn.beeksebergen.nl".

Participation in the cancellation fund must be made immediately upon booking. The cancellation fund runs from the day of registration to the day of departure. In the event of an early termination of the holiday for one of the above reasons, a percentage of the rent will be refunded in proportion to the number of holiday days taken. The fund pays out after the pitch or accommodation is empty. You must also notify the reception in writing of the latter. For participation in the cancellation fund the rate is 5% of the total rent. No policy costs are charged.

We offer you the flexibility to rebook your stay in certain cases. In the event that you are eligible for this, you will be personally informed. The rebooking of your stay is for example in most of these cases possible: when there is a negative travel advisory for North-Brabant, if the borders are closed/being closed, if our connected theme parks (like Safaripark Beekse Bergen) are closed during your stay without this being known while booking and/or if measures will be changed about your traveling company where you do not comply with. These possibilities only count for situations that were not known while booking the stay. Also, the measures should be mentioned on the official website of the Dutch government. If you come into touch with rebooking your stay and you are not informed by us, please get in contact with us.

For visitors from the age of 13 it is mandatory to wear a mouth mask in all indoor areas. This obligation does not apply to your own accommodation and outdoors. Our employees also wear a mouth mask to ensure the safety of our guests.

The Beekse Bergen entertainment program is currently mainly aimed at children from 4 to 12 years old. This concerns activities that children can participate in without the supervision of parents, such as crafts and various games. Would you rather do an activity for the whole family? That is also possible! Every craft activity can also be packed as a take-away package. In addition, the entertainment program also includes a number of special 'family activities'. These are designed in such a way that you can do this together as a family. Think of a treasure hunt, light route or sowing flowers for the bees. Note: The animation program may change if the guidelines of the RIVM change. Ask the rangers for the latest up-to-date information.

Due to the measures taken regarding the corona virus, the bowling alley at the Safari Resort is currently closed. In consultation with the relevant Safety Regions, we are examining the circumstances under which the bowling alley can be fully or partially opened again.

The Safari Resort has an extensive fiber optic network. All accommodations therefore have their own WiFi point, so that you can work fine from your accommodation. Due to the corona measures, there is currently a lot of use of WiFi in the accommodations. To guarantee fast and trouble-free internet use, the modem at the Safari Resort is currently automatically reset twice a day. During the day around 12.30 pm, the WiFi connection is out of use for a maximum of 1 minute.

The Holiday Park has an extensive fiber optic network. All accommodations therefore have their own WiFi point, so that you can work fine from your accommodation.

Animal welfare comes first. Of course, Beekse Bergen does everything to allow you as a guest to enjoy the view of the animals from your accommodation as much as possible. However, the Dutch weather is sometimes too cold or too stormy for the animals and they cannot stay outside for long. The animals then go to their heated barn at night, and sometimes during the day. The feeding times of the animals are spread over the day as much as possible.

When it snows or freezes it can be dangerous for the animals on the savannah. For example, they can slip. If this is the case, the animals will have limited visibility. The rangers then work hard to keep the water features ice-free, so that the animals can safely walk outside.

You will be contacted about this, you do not have to do anything yourself. If you still want to ask a question, you can do so via info@libemafunfactory.nl.
